Vijñāna  Parishad of India

Dr. R.C. Singh Chandel (Orai) with the inspiration of Dr. B.B. Lal (Principal), founded Vijñāna Parishad of India (Society for Applications of Mathematics) having Head Office: D.V.Postgraduate College (Bundelkhand University), Orai, U.P., India  in 1971, with a vision of making it a society of International repute and dedicated to the Applications of Mathematics in all fields of Science and Technology. Later Prof. H. M. Srivastava (Victoria, Canada) and Late Prof. J. N. Kapur (Kanpur/Delhi) joined hands with Dr. Chandel and took this society to a new horizon. Vijñāna Parishad of India has a crucial role to play because it is the only society in India explicitly devoted to this goal.
