Abstract
In this paper, we introduced a measure of central tendency approach for solving fuzzy transportation problem. In this transportation problem, we have used the pentagonal intuitionistic fuzzy number in an intuitionistic fuzzy environment to represent the transportation expenditures. We obtained crisp model for this fuzzy transportation problem by using accuracy function. Illustrated examples of fuzzy transportation problem are given to clarify our proposed approach.
