SOLUTION OF RAYLEIGH-PLESSET EQUATION USING DIFFERENTIAL TRANSFORM METHOD

Abstract

The objective of the paper is to solve Rayleigh-Plesset equation using Differential Transform Method in one dimension. The Rayleigh-Plesset equations both with and without viscosity terms are taken into consideration, approximate series are generated using DTM transforms and significant difference is found in their solutions. Also, the results are compared with numerical solution and found to be approximately same for small time t. As t becomes large and r -->1, the difference becomes significant.
