Abstract

Gajić and Rakočević proved a common fixed point theorem for non-self mappings on a Takahashi convex metric space. In this paper, we prove a common fixed point theorem on a pair of non-self mappings obeying specified conditions on a convex partial metric space. We also provide an illustrative example on the use of the theorem.
